What we collect
When you list an item, request an item, or ask us to find something, we collect the details you enter in that form — your name, WhatsApp number, university, campus, and the item or request details. This information is stored in our internal system and used only to coordinate your listing, request, or search.
What's never made public
Seller and buyer contact details (WhatsApp numbers, names tied to a live transaction) are never displayed on any public listing or page. Only The Student Plug team can see this information, and only for the purpose of coordinating an exchange.
Photos
Photos you upload when listing an item are stored with a third-party image host so they can be displayed on your listing. They are not used for any purpose beyond showing your listing.
What we don't do
We don't sell your information to third parties, and we don't use it for advertising outside of The Student Plug.
